An awesome Saturday

We spent most of the day just hanging out with Henry, taking turns holding and feeding him, posing with Gerald the Elephant, and getting drop ins from the many members of his care team. He's continuing to exceed all expectations, eating everything he's offered and bouncing back to his birth weight. 

For all the beeping monitors, hourly checkups from his nurse, and various IV lines, it was still a relatively peaceful, nearly normal-seeming day. 

We passed on fourth straight day of hospital food for dinner and ordered some delicious Thai takeout instead. Our brains and bodies needed a solid meal and good night's sleep. Tomorrow, we will learn the plan for Henry's surgery on Monday.
